2024 Annual Cheermeister Decorating Contest

Residential Category-

1st Place will receive a $50 Home Depot Card and a decorative yard sign

2nd & 3rd Place winners will receive a decorative yard sign 

• Participation is open to all residents within the boundaries of the Spring Creek Association. 
• Entry is free, no cost or fees apply 
• Entry applications must be received no later than December 15, 2024. 
• Contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from exterior. 
• Judging will be done from outside the residence only. Judging will be based on "curb appeal" as viewed from the street only. Therefore only those decorations located on the street side of the property will be judged (corner lots will be judged from both streets). Judges will not enter the property to view back or side yards. 
• Participants agree to have one or more photos of their decorated residence exterior posted on the SCA Website and/or published on social media. Participant agrees there will be no compensation of any kind for said posting or publication. 
• Judging criteria will include (a) Unique design and creative use of lights and decorations; (b) Storyline or theme; (c) Display and placement of decorations, animated objects, etc.; and (d) Overall presentation 
• Judging will be done from 12/01/24 through 12/15/24 by the Community members.
• Participants should ensure that all lights, animations and decorations are in place and activated for the judging periods on both nights. 
• Winners will be announced on Monday morning, 12/16/24 at the Fairway Community Center, 401 Fairway Blvd. Winners do not need to be present to win and if not present will be notified by telephone.
